Our IKEA EFFEKTFULL 20282287 CBDC181 came with an awkward top bottle rack which didn't really fit most bottles and is badly designed - unevenly spaced so smaller bottles drop through or don't stay put, or you can't close the door for larger bottles. Just a waste of space at the top. Removed the original rack and replaced it with this plain shelf and a plastic bottle holder - a "RakaStaka" for half of it. Now we can fit some extra food and a few bottles stacked at the top. Fits perfectly just like the other shelves.
Overall: Yes, I would recommend to a friend
